State House — Your Yarmouth Delegation
1st Barnstable — Yarmouth Precincts 1, 2, 3, 4, 7 & 8, plus Dennis & Brewster
Arrested April 11, 2025 and indicted by a federal grand jury on five counts of wire fraud and one count of falsification of records. Accused of stealing $36,000 from the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Cape Cod, including $10,000 wired directly to his campaign account. Previously sanctioned by OCPF for fabricating a fictitious person (“Jeanne Louise”) during his 2022 campaign to disguise a deceptive mailer.
Status: Pleaded not guilty. Has refused to resign despite calls from Governor Healey, MassGOP, and all three towns in his district (Dennis, Brewster, and Yarmouth each passed formal votes demanding resignation). Missed the annual House budget debate. House Ethics Committee investigation on hold until federal case concludes. Continues to collect his $100,945 annual salary while effectively absent.
Yarmouth’s 1st Barnstable seat has been without effective representation since April 2025.
Cape and Islands Senate District — All of Yarmouth, plus Barnstable, Brewster, Chatham, Dennis, Eastham, Harwich, Orleans, Provincetown, Truro, Wellfleet, Dukes County, Nantucket

2nd Barnstable — Yarmouth Precincts 5, 6 & 8A, plus Barnstable

Also voted no on H.R. 1 (July 1, 2025) — against the same tax-relief and border-security package he branded the “Big Ugly Bill.” (U.S. Senate roll call.)
Voted no on H.R. 1 in the House (July 3, 2025) — one of 214 Democrats against the tax cuts and border-security funding. (House Roll Call 190.)

Select Board

DY Regional School Committee
Oversees Dennis-Yarmouth Regional School District. Joe B. Glynn won a Yarmouth seat on May 19.
The DY school override is the largest of the four ballot questions — projected $375M over 20 years.
Planning Board
Reviews development proposals, zoning changes, and land use policy. Key body for MBTA Communities Act compliance decisions.
Housing Authority
Manages public housing and affordable housing programs. Joe B. Glynn won the open seat on May 19.
Town Moderator
Presides over Town Meeting — the legislative body of Yarmouth. James Kevin Saben was elected Moderator on May 19.
