What We Believe

The principles that guide the Yarmouth Republican Town Committee

Our Mission

The Yarmouth Republican Town Committee is done waiting. We have new volunteers who showed up, read the rules, and are running this committee the way it was designed to be run. We meet monthly — minimum — in an election year. We are autonomous, motivated, and capable. We are actively recruiting and supporting our own candidates to replace entrenched career politicians who have not moved the marker for Yarmouth families in any meaningful way.

We stand in the tradition of those ordinary men who told a tyrannical king they would govern themselves. Today, different faces push the same arrogance — and we have heard the calling.

FOR THE REPUBLIC.

We represent the conservative values that built Cape Cod — hard work, fiscal responsibility, personal liberty, and a government that serves the people instead of the other way around. We believe Yarmouth’s best days are ahead, but only if voters take back the process from the insiders who’ve made a career out of spending your money without asking permission.

Fiscal Responsibility

Every dollar the town spends comes from your property taxes. We believe in lean budgets, transparent spending, and elected officials who can look you in the eye and justify every line item. Yarmouth families live within their means — their government should too.

Individual Liberty

Your property is yours. Your business decisions are yours. Your children’s education is your responsibility, not the state’s. We oppose the creeping expansion of government into every corner of private life and believe free people make better decisions than bureaucrats.

Public Safety

Safe streets, funded police, and a justice system that protects law-abiding citizens. We support the men and women who keep Yarmouth safe and oppose policies that put ideology ahead of public safety. Our neighborhoods should be places where families feel secure.

Transparent Government

Decisions that affect your tax bill should not be made in back rooms by people who never have to face voters. We demand open meetings, public records, and elected officials who answer questions instead of dodging them. Sunlight is the best disinfectant.

Local Control

Yarmouth’s problems should be solved by Yarmouth’s people — not by Beacon Hill mandates or federal programs with strings attached. We believe in the Town Meeting tradition: the purest form of democracy in America, where every registered voter has an equal voice.

Election Integrity

Every legal vote should count, and every voter should trust the process. We support voter ID, clean voter rolls, transparent ballot counting, and election systems that earn public confidence. Democracy only works when people believe in it.

We didn’t come here to make friends with the political establishment. We came here to represent the people who pay the bills, raise the families, and keep this town running. If that makes some people uncomfortable — good.
