Yarmouth RTC Delivers Unanimous Convention Feedback to State Party

The Yarmouth Republican Town Committee has formally submitted constructive feedback to Massachusetts Republican Party Chair Amy Carnevale regarding the 2026 Massachusetts Republican Convention, held April 25 in Worcester.

At its May 13 meeting, the committee unanimously voted to authorize Chair Cheryl Ball to convey the concerns of the many Yarmouth delegates who attended. In a June 17 letter to Chair Carnevale, Ball wrote that while the committee recognizes “the tremendous effort required to organize a statewide event of this size,” many delegates “left frustrated by what they viewed as avoidable organizational and logistical shortcomings.”

Our goal is not to criticize for the sake of criticism, but rather to help ensure future conventions provide a positive experience for the grassroots volunteers, committee members, delegates, donors, and activists who dedicate so much of their time to advancing the Republican Party in Massachusetts.

The committee also extended an offer to help: “We would welcome the opportunity to assist with any efforts to improve the convention process going forward.”

The full letter reflects concerns raised by multiple attendees and was delivered in the spirit of strengthening the Party’s most important statewide gathering. The Yarmouth RTC thanks every delegate who shared their experience.
